FEAT. FAT TONY

Cover features a depiction of local Southside Chicago grocery store, Village Foods in 2007— created by A. Johnson for vyle.

With production reminiscent of the “Blueprint-College Dropout” era textures that came out of Chicago in the early '00s, the first single from vyle’s full-length “A Ü T O/M Ö T O R” instantly transports to a time of T-Mobile Sidekick phones and flat brimmed fitted hats. The song also contains lyrics and references Chicago’s current landscape in the music industry, the sudden loss of his mother, his neighborhood, his part in a scene that produced other chicago artists like Kid Sister, Flosstradamus and The Cool Kids, and the importance of trusting things that at first glance may seem “untrustworthy”.

This single + interactive 3D/VR environment is the first release from vyle’s upcoming full-length album,
A Ü T O/M Ö T O R— a music album and 3D experience created by the artist, created in NYC’s New Museum, as part of their NEW INC incubator program— which features alumni like Telfar Clemens (Telfar), MSCHF Footwear, Artiphone, DiS(dis.art),Jojo Abot and many more. https://vylevylevyle.com
